I had the pleasure of attending the 2017 New York Salsa Congress. I had an amazing time filled with social dancing and excellent workshops. Post Class Photo with Denisse & Ernesto I arrived after a mid-morning flight on Friday just in time to take the last workshop. Ladies Dance the Lead
Women often ask me to lead them on the dance floor, and usually, I hear them whisper to me conspiratorially, that they wished they were able to lead too. My response, “why not, there are so many benefits to ladies learning to lead.” It’s hard to hear on the dance floor so I can’t say all of the reasons in that setting, but here I’d like to share some benefits with ladies learning to lead. Desueño is very excited to be back at the Promontory debuting their new piece, Bacoso, choreographed by Denita Inez. Desueño Vision will perform along with 2 other groups.
